HOME SWEET HOME. =D

I'M BBBBBBBAAAAAAACCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!
the start of the plane ride yst was HORRENDOUS. =(
so much turbulence. nearly vommitted. >.<
but after that, had an enjoyable ride.
good food, good movies, new plane too!!! =D
haha. so glad to be back.
home sweet home.
thank God for journey mercies and for watching over van and i.
really had a good year at uni this year.
cant wait for the next! =D

glenelg!!

haha, van and i went to the beach today with a church friend.
39 degrees: perfect weather for the beach.
had heaps of fun and haf AMAZING fish & chips and ice cream.
AND vanny got me something!!
i am content. haha. =)

BREATHE....

haha. last week of uni is ALMOST over.
last lecture is tmr- 1 hour. WOOTS!!!
=) so glad this week is over!
1 presentation, 1 essay, 1 test over in 1 week!!
yay. happiness.
thank God for the strength, wisdom and guidance.
definitely couldnt have done it without Him.
=) thank you Lord!!!

seeking to know His goodness.

started the day off wonderfully with a good devotion today.
it was basically about waiting on the Lord and i found it speaking directly to me.
many a times we set our hearts solely on God's blessings,
often wondering why it takes so long for it to come or whether it will come at all.
it isnt that God wants us to be left stranded, only able to depend on ourself.
no! He wants to manifest His goodness in us!
and for this reason, He often holds them back so that He is able to get our total adoration, our total love.
not only when we receive the gift or blessing,
but even while waiting for it to come, even when it never comes.
just to show us that He is worth the wait.
and to enable us to be able to wait continually on the Lord. not just in times of need. but as a habit, as a desire to do so.
what we really need is more OF God and NOT needing something more THAN God.
like what Jim Berg said, God is MORE than enough for me.

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
to the soul who seeks Him.

countdowns.

hmm. getting a bit bored and well, stressed.
so let's come up with a count down list!
get some motivation of sorts! =)

3 weeks till to EO 'test' and the dateline of 5 psychology essays.
4 weeks of uni left.
4 weeks till my 2 week study break. during which, 3 assignments are due.
7 weeks till my exam.

There was a cherry-tree. Its bloomy snows
Cool even now the fevered sight that knows
No more its airy visions of pure joy --
As when you were a boy.

There was a cherry-tree. The Bluejay sat
His blue against its white -- O blue as jet

He was so pale a blue!
